Take the R512/Hans Strydom extension towards Hartbeespoort Dam
* Cross over the N14/R28 Krugersdorp/Pretoria highway
* Pass Hertford shopping centre on the left
* Pass Shumba Valley Lodge on the right
* Straight at 3-way stop (Lanseria)
* Travel for 4,5km to just before Rhenosterspruit Engin and take sand road turning to the right sign posted Rhenosterspruit Nature Reserve
* Travel 7kms on the sand road as follows at the fork keep right cross the Crocodile river after sharp turn to the left take the next road right, cross Jukskei river,up steep hill pass Worlds View Mountain to the left.
* 2nd gate to the left - 16 Vlakfontein
* The entire sand road is sign posted "Ibis River Retreat"
